COGNITIVE WALKTHROUGH FINDINGS
The type and CTA buttons are very small and hard to read or recognize, and
the interface of the dashboard and pages appear cluttered and unorganized.The layout is not arranged in a way that shows a hierarchical, step-by-step path
to start or complete any task from the dashboard to other pages.
CONTEXTUAL INQUIRIES FINDINGS
Assignment entries are added to the right ascending further away from student names anchored on the left, which makes viewing upcoming due dates and assignment details difficult, and entering scores for grading prone to mistakes.
A way of customizing the view and entries in the grade book would benefit teachers and would enhance their teaching style.
TASKS TARGETED FOR PROTOTYPED IMPROVEMENTS
The dashboard and grade book pages will be streamlined and broken up into steps by making
overlay portals, accordion expanded entry forms, and rollover pop-ups.The content of the dashboard and grade book pages will be customized by users selecting how
or if content will be viewed with just a click of a box.

A video walkthrough shows the touch points that address areas of improvement by customizing the content for each individual teacher’s needs.
